Ntxawg and Kansinee’s Story

Late in September of 2015, we first heard of Bethany from my younger sister and brother in-law. They told us that Pastor Kevin Walton and his family had moved back to Minnesota. after having served over twenty plus years as a missionary overseas in Thailand. He was serving as pastor at Community of Nations Church (formerly Bethany Baptist). We then went and joined a few Sunday worship services together. After a few visits, by faith, we became members and were joyfully welcomed and received by the body of Christ’s families there. Being part of Community of Nations Church, brought on many challenges, joy, growth and love for Christ and others. There has been a deepening of knowledge- from truth of the word of God, from the Pastor, and from small group leaders. We have been listening, learning, and helping others to growth in their faith in Christ toward maturity. “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17 KJV), “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” (James 2:17 KJV), We have stayed, worshiped, and served and continue to do so in faith in Christ Jesus together ever since.
