Pastor Jonna Fantz

Lead Pastor

Jonna Fantz, pastor, poet and people lover, has a hunger to see life change through encounters with the living Christ. She brings all her passion to bear as she teaches, preaches, and leads ministry encouraging people to experience God through his Word, through community engagement, and through devotional deep dives. She loves to listen intentionally to God and others as she participates in the transforming work that Jesus Christ is doing in people’s lives and in the world. She cares deeply about the church living into it’s calling to live in faithful witness to the true nature of God and human community.

Jonna graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Divinity from Bethel Theological Seminary in 2001. Complimenting her seminary education, Jonna completed Spiritual Director Training at the Christos Center for Spiritual Formation between 1997 and 2000, which has enriched her ability to provide spiritual guidance. Her foundational academic journey began at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Language Arts in 1991. Additionally, Jonna pursued coursework on Educational Theory and Practice at Washington State University, which has informed her approach to teaching and curriculum development.

Jonna has been ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church denomination and through Converge, and has served as a pastor for over twenty years in the Twin Cities Metro area.
